So, im not really sure what to write for my first post so I guess I'll just talk about my interests and what I plan to post about in the future.
Im a sixteen year old girl from just outside London who loves theatre, dance, fashion and beauty.
Beauty and fashion- I had an interest from a young age and from the day I got my first makeup set I was testing out different makeup in any spare time I had. Although I thought that I was pretty good at make up and putting an outfit together, I can guarantee that bright blue eyeshadow, red lipstick and a whole can of glitter hairspray does not look good unless you are going to some sort of fancy dress party. I used to pin my sister on the floor to give her "makeovers" to test out my non existent makeup skills, which she absolutely hated! Hopefully I've improved since then. I still love testing out makeup products and experimenting with different looks, which range from day to day wearable styles, to the crazy creations you would never leave the house wearing. I went through a phase of re-painting my nails almost everyday, my room stank! I still enjoy painting my nails and doing different patterns on them, I don't think I will ever paint my nails as much as I did back then unless I want to pass out from all the fumes in my room. Sometimes I'm just to lazy and unskilled to paint my right hand and just have one hand painted (please say some of you do this too!).
Theatre- well I've been referred to as a walking musical (that should give you a clue). I fell in love when a drama did an hour session with my class at school, I was in year three so I was about 7 at the time. I loved it so much my mum signed me up to the club that day! After four years with the club I got too old and had to leave ): but I found another club to go to, Youth Theatre Workshops, here i was introduced to musicals and i became obsessed! I still attend YTW, here we put on a different show every term (thats three shows a year). Its extremely tiring but I love it. Drama has improved my confidence immensely and recommend it to anyone who lacks self esteem, I am still quite a quiet person in everyday life so when people who know me come and see our shows for the first time, they are quite surprised . I have made so many amazing fiends through drama and I hope some of you are able to try it. here are some pictures of some of the shows we have performed.

This photo is from when we did a show called The Producers. I played the part of Ulla the swedish "secretary" (I think you get what i mean). Its a Mel Brooks musical comedy and was so fun to perform.
this if from when we performed cats. We only got to do one performance which was really sad, but it was by far one of the most enjoyable performance i have ever done.
Dance- this sort of links to theatre but I thought it deserves its own section. I've danced ever since I was about six which is actually quite late compared to other people. I loads of my friends went to ballet and I wanted to do it as well (sheep!), I begged my mum constantly until she finally let me join. Because i joined late-ish I was always in a class of people slightly younger until I finally caught up with the people my own age. Not long after I started ballet classed I joined tap and modern. I still dance tap ballet and now pointe, but I swapped modern for jazz/contemporary classes. I don't have any pictures of me dancing at the moment but I will probably do another blog post on just dance some time in the future, and when I do, I promise to upload some pictures (if I have any decent ones).
sorry this post was just a bit of a ramble and quite long,
